While developing and communicating an opinion of value (aka, “an appraisal”) for use in Divorce proceedings or in the Settlement of an Estate (as well as other legal-type uses), such may require testimony in court; you will want to use the service of a professional who is experienced in such matters. While all appraisers will deliver an appraisal report, not all appraisal reports are credible; you will want to be certain that your provider can deliver a credible appraisal.
The most common type of value in these appraisals is Market Value.
